Library Membership

The membership of the library is available to students/faculty members as well as to postgraduate students, staff from academic institutions, Govt. R&D laboratories and industry. Only print resources are available for consultation /reference against library membership.

*Mode of Payment

Payments needs to be made By Demand Draft in the name of Director, CSIR-NCL, Pune or by NEFT to Director, NCL Pune @- SBI NCL Campus Branch, Pune. Account No. : 30267257846, IFSC Code: SBIN0003552, GST No.: 27AAATC2716R1ZF

*General Rules:

All memberships are valid for only 1 year.

Library membership cards are non-transferable and entry will be to the valid cardholders only. In case loss of the card please informs the library staff immediately.

Valid ID card of the parent institute/company is must along with CSIR-NCL Library membership card for entry into the CSIR-NCL Library.

Industry Members cannot access online databases and cannot download any copyrighted content subscribed by the library. Limited photocopy are made available for industry membership.

Systematic downloading, G-mail attachments & use of Social networking site is not allowed.

Members can only browse and search resources available in the library & Limited photocopies/printouts of documents are allowed to members as per membership category.

Issuing facility is not available to outside users.

Personal documents are not allowed to refer to the library.

Every member has to enter his/her name in the register kept at the entrance.

The library reserves the right to terminate the membership with immediate effect, on failure to observe the library rules.

Retired members of CSIR-NCL are allowed to take library membership.

Smoking & eating is not allowed inside the library.

Membership fees are non-refundable.

The Director, CSIR-NCL reserves the right to restrict the use of library services.

All rates are in addition of GST @ 18 % .
